About US
Dr. Sara grew up in Front Royal, VA. After attending veterinary school at the Virginia – Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine, she moved back to the area and has been practicing veterinary medicine since 2019. Paws of Gratitude Vet Care was created to provide a peaceful, respectful, and loving setting for end-of-life care for our beloved companions. Dr. Sara has seen the stress and heartbreak of having to say goodbye unexpectedly in a strange setting. By offering in- home euthanasia and hospice services, Dr. Sara hopes to alleviate the stress and anxiety over end-of-life care decisions and allow your pet to have a peaceful, kind, and dignified ending.
Dr. Sara is also certified in Veterinary Acupuncture and passionate about comfort and quality of life for our senior patients. She was certified by the Chi Institute for Acupuncture in 2023 and has taken additional continuing education courses for euthanasia, geriatric medicine, and hospice care.
Dr. Sara spends her free time with her family, a menagerie of animals, and spending as much time outdoors as possible.
